i will tell you lol...if u look.. when neil his drury it was late. why? cause look at the puck after drury passed the puck it was close of being behind that goal line...when the puck was that close thats when drury got hit..very late hit

dont know if you know this but the hit is actually 0.48 secounds after he releases the puck. Headline sports out of Toronto put the stopwatch on the hit in realtime. I know it doesnt appear that way because all the replays are in slow motion. The hit was vicious, but not late and not an elbow.

the thing that was so significant about this was: mair, peters and kaleta is NOT A LINE. lindy ruff separates his grit players across his lines, he doesn't throw them out on the ice all at once, and bryan murray knew this. couple that with the fact that heatley, spezza and alfredsson were on the ice for ottawa, and everyone knew something was going to happen.
