when i saw this for the 1st time i was sure none of the hits were clean. but after a closer look they all seemed legal. They sure look cool but hurting other player on purpose isnt too glorious even in a sport like hockey.

@ gangsterdrester: Stevens never had a minus season in a career that spanned nearly two decades. He was solid stay-at-home defenseman who cared more about protecting his own end than making a hit for the highlight reel even though he has more than a few of those.
In my opinion he is one of the greatest captains in NHL history. He was a player who could dominate games with his physical presence alone and had the most fearsome bodycheck the league has ever seen.

He didnt low bridge them on hip checks. Never elbowed. Never hit to the head(unless they had their head down, then its their fault)
