You've actually made a good point: Who are these guys? These guys are skilled, who've studied the full variety of martial arts, boxing & wrestling; sparred & fought in tournaments of every style you can name, since they were kids. In spite of that, when the poop gets deep, few or none of them chose to fight w/o a weapon & all of them leave behind the fancy techniques. Why? Because when you're in a real fight, this is what a real fight is.

I gave four stars to the video and I RESPECT this kind of training,working on "reality" as much as possible BUT.Even if pratictioneers are older than18 and they can choose for their health,IT'S STUPID let them fight against someone visibly more skilled without at least enough protections,STUPID let each other hitting the spine,STUPID hitting the rear head with the puno of the stick,so.don't hit me with deep words on "brotherwood"or the knowledge of the Family,this is not the right way to learn.

these guys are sick. i know arnis myself because i'm filipino. and this is totally against arnis principals. this is not how to test strength. and these guys are mocking filipinos because why "dog brothers" and use our art? do they see filipinos as dogs? because filipinos are not dogs. and when we fight, we don't hit our opponent on the ground because that's cowardice. atleast i don't. a true man, martial artist, repels an attack, not cause the aggression. this is wrong. these should grow up.

I wouldn't say the "greatest" commercial scam, but there is no doubt the Shaolin Temple is not what it used to be. For various reasons including "the cultural revolution" and China's backing of Wushu the old Shaolin traditions are now being taught out of garages in Taiwan, USA, and Europe. Thankfully there are still traceable liniages that go back the original Shaolin Temple and the knowledge is still attainable.

No, these guys are calling *themselves* the Dog Brothers. Some of what you see here is Filipino Arts as these people have trained in a large variety of Arts. From what I've heard, most FMArtists don't recognize this as Filipino Arts, although any self-respecting Eskrimador should show up to test their Art.

Those guys are idiots, specially the leader guy with his John Wayne style talk. Look how most of them are fat and untrained. There is no technique, they just hit each other with sticks. Any Kickboxer or Muay Thai fighter would knock them out within 2 minutes. Fuck you wannabes.

those HEAD GEARS don't do justice! take em off and its a different scenario... Head Gears are stupid makes them look for real! I remember years (15) ago they were challenge by one FMA style from NYC to fight without a head gear w/ their rules (same rules w/ todays rules)... they DECLINE! hahah... I temember it Mr._____ came to their door step and challenge them.. hehehe.... the style of Arnis that challenge them spars no armor and are lightning fast! 4 d record..

This is not how they train. This is how we test what we have learned. Training this extreme always, would be insane. They are closly connected to Peketi Tersia, Lemaco, and Inosanto organisations among others. Very respected in the Filipino martial arts community they are! Dog Tom Tom
