John Paul II's assassination was attempted on the anniversary of the Fatima apparition of 1917. I believe the Vatican revealed the true final secret of Fatima. Why does everyone have it so stuck in their heads that every single aspect of Catholicism is full of conspiracy? I have my doubts about the Vatican myself but come on! They can't fart over there without starting conspiracy theories!

2 of the secrets were revealed to the children in 1917 ... it was the 3rd that remained secret until it was finally revealed in the year 2000 iirc

It doesnt have to mean anything since this can be made up. The few true things are that the Vatican is extremely corupt and full of crooks. History has proved it... Christianity has brought some good things but it also has brought corruption, murder, hate, wars, holocausts. I am catholic and I am ashamed of the things from the past... I do believe however that the Spear of Destiny and the Arc of the covenant exists. I myself am a descendant of a highranking templar.poor knights who got killed

Yeah the Church has good and bad history but that's life. Clergy is still human and can sin but the Church as far as morals and faith is truth.

Mike, thank you for your post. As for "scientists" proving anything about the Miracle at Fatima, please be careful. If you believe in God, then you believe that God can do anything, far beyond the sensitivity of any instruments we can create. God can create the heavens and the earth at a single moment, extending the rays of light from distant stars billions of light years distance at a single moment. From what I understand, the Fatima Miracle only extended within about a 20 mile radius.

Yea that's pretty interesting, but what I'm also saying is that even if photos were taken, a miracle wouldn't necessarily have to be captured by them or by any other instrument created by man. God can transcend any earthly instrument. One example, for faithful Catholics and Orthodox, is the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Many other miracles, explained in the Bible, also transcend instrumentation as well as, admit it, natural logic. Hence we should be charitable to atheists. :)

There is some controversy as to whether or not the consecration of Russia was done.

When did God give the world the "peace" that was promised? Isn't Russia now posturing once again and becoming agressive again? Has abortion in Russia stopped? Is abortion under Obama going to expand under the Freedom of Choice Act? What about the Vatican's warning of a new persecution recently? St Monica prayed for her son's conversion for 20 yrs. and it was granted. In Austria Rosary procesions drove out communists in 10 yrs. God does not lie. "It will come too late" was the warning.

something else i find interesting is the gospel of Jesus christ, and judas. Why? because the vatican accepts the gospels of mathhew, mark, luke , and john into the church, but the gospel writing of jesus and judas that have been traced down to the 3 or 4th century must be fake! i honostly do believ in the lord God and jesus, but i do not beilieve in the catholic church for the fact that they deny everything that does not meet their liking. The solar event was visible only to those at Fatima and in the surrounding countryside - several thousand people.
