Yeah, you know those (little black spots) that you see on youre car after youve just finished washing and polishing/waxing it. Thats what is is - TAR. Otherwise known as "tar spots". Petrol definitely dissolves it and takes it off. But dont forget to wash and dry those parts of the bodywork you have just treated with petrol afterwords :)
