i wasn't saying he was right. i wasn't discussing that at all. it was totally the viewpoint that everyone else is taking. that it is NOT art. that's what i'm arguing. :) i'm glad you can see it from my side though :)

In the stoic cold technical definition of the word it could be argued as art. But we are humans and this was a display of the darkest side of human nature. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO KILL A ANIMAL AND CALL IT ART!

IF and I do stress IF the dog lived, and the story of him picking up a sick dog off the street is true, then I would have to say this is good ART, Not only that it opened up peoples eyes to the fact that not everything is right in the world, and that animals need to be treated more humanly. But also for the week or so that the exhibit was opened the dog was (so they say) giving food and water when the dog wasn't on stage, which is more then it would of had if it was on the street.

IF the story of him picking up a sick dog off the street and letting him starve to death in front of an audience as an exhibit is true, then the man is indeed a monster, and should suffer greatly, everyone even animals have the right to not be tortured, but in this act he did raise awareness about the plight animals face every day, this act raised awareness, and stirred emotion's such as hate, anger, sadness, hurt. I would consider he's actions to be ART, but... (see next post)

I feel that any ART that comes at forcefully hurting another person, or animal should not be aloud to take place, the merit of the art does not equal the cost of the suffering of another being, but if such things do happen i would hope the reaction of people that see this art is not to sign petitions, or cry, but to help were they can do real good, volunteer at a shelter, adopt a pet, or simply spade or neuter your pet to help control the population.

I agree and I hear something similair that the dog dident die infact he lived but he called it a dead dog though the whole thing with this was proving a point that 1 death is a tragity but 10000 deaths is a statistic and look this one dog has gotten so much fame and infact its not even dead but thousands of dogs dieing from abuse arent even heard of and also anything can be classified as art its just peoples opinions on it and if they think is right to have that as art or not

he took the dog off the street..not to look after it, not to help it, to show case it... he screwed any message he was trying to get across... it didnt express a valuable message. its message was that this is what happens when you tie a stray dog up in a room and not feed it...there was no dog carcass lying in a gutter..no dog with its head in a garbage bin..no, im sorry, BUT WE SHOULD BE HELPING THESE DOGS...he didnt give any hope to that dog..he didnt give ANY stray dogs hope...it is not art

Actually, with the all the shocked people who viewed his exhibited, it was stated that not one of them tried to help the dog, feed it, or call the police, which showcases man's hypocrisy. I love animals, but don't have the time or money to take in every stray, so I can't fuss about the starving animals I see, especially when he himself didn't starve the dog, but simply took him off the streets for a display. And he got his point across...being upset but passive is as wrong as being the aggresor.

i'm glad that you support the existance of diferents points of view, but you should NOT support this kind of shit video, or maybe you could congratulate someone that thinks that the best way to free the street from homeless people is killing every indigent you see, maybe we could get some weapons and kill orphans, since they don't have parents who would care about them? what i mean is that you have to think before speak, something that we cannot see in this video
