Hello, I came to see your video by chance, and it is so nice video lesson of korean alphabet,Han-gul. I like the way you teach to help memorization of Korean alphabet for English speakers. What about language exchange with me on the net where voice chatting is possible, such as skype or MSN? Im a native korean speaker, living in seoul, and my written english is about intermediate level. If you interested, send me your msg and leave your email address or skype ID. Thank you.

I have a favor. Can you please explain the grammatical rules in using
이, 가, and 은, 는. I know that they are topic and subject makers, but my Korean language books do not explain when and how am I going to choose in using these particles. I know that 이 and 은 are for nouns ending with a consonant. 가 and 는 are for nouns ending with a vowel. But how will I
know if I am to use either a subject or a topic maker? Thanks.

Can you tell me what the word that sounds like "mida", and is tacked onto the ends of many sentences, means? It's driving me crazy not to know--thanks
The word that ... ( 5 months ago by narcaillou)
The word that sounds like 'mida' is 'nida'. You can put it on ends of some setences. And it makes the sentences to be a polite form. But some japaneses mock koreans with the sound of this word. So using the word along with other languages or all alone can be offensive.

Use
이, 가 when the subject is like normal, not reamarkable. Like "화분'이' 깨졌다." means 'A base is broken, no big deal'. And 은, 는 is used when the subject should be emphasized or has been noticed. Like "화분'은' 깨졌다." means 'THAT base is broken'... It's occasionally unusual to u
se '은, 는' when a hearer doesn't know the very subject you're referring.
