It was played to get a laugh, "Comedy Central" isn't enough for you? For the editing, If you weren't a fool, you'd know about something called "Fair use" which grants the right to use someone else's audio/visual property in your own application. What is considered "fair use" varies but 30 secs is pushes it. Therefore Fox couldn't play the whole thing without risking lawsuit not to make the guy look bad. Stop suspending reason and learn to take a joke.

I do agree with some of your comments though. The interent is essential to outing media liars. I don't like the idea of governments having the ability to shut down media they don't like though. It would be nice if different media outlets had some level of ideological independence from each other
though, as they all seem to tell the same lies as each other.

ó el canal de TV, lo que hizo es q no renovó su licencia para señal abierta, ahora el canal es por tv de paga, creo q solo por cable!!! Ese canal estuvo tirándole duro a Chavez desde que hizo el intento de golpe de Estado, luego también ya como presidente, casi 3 años desde que fué presidente

Anyways, you're right, the way the media frames comments is so very disingenuous and it needs to be stopped! I'm not surprised that the media in other countries is just like America's media. In politics everybody has something to gain, and it's almost impossible for anybody in the media to be completely objective.
I hope you're not offended that I assume English is your second language, but it's funny to me that you're much more eloquent in English than most Americans including our president.

Thanks friend, for your intelligent assessment of the current influence of the media. Rest assured you aren't alone in your opinions on this subject. We would need an army of video-editors to translate to the people the methods that the media have been using. It's hard to convince someone that has developed a trust for these stations that there is something subversive afoot. Hell, they bring us the weather! I'm American and I can no longer watch TV without having to dissect what's shown.
