lol? dude you dont know jack shit, man. edison miranda gave allan green a boxing lesson for ten rounds and then blasted him out of the waster. edison miranda doesnt have a fifth of the boxing ability of pavlik. miranda pushed green around. pavlik was stronger than miranda and was able to walk through his best shots. keep the espn highlights going, pal, they have little to do with boxing.

I think alot of people here are selling calzaghe short. He's an unbelievably talented and brilliant fighter. Look how he destroyed punchers like Lacy and Kessler. he didn't commit to much in the Hopkins fight 'cause Hopkins is dirty and Joe didn't wanna get hit with elbows, head or shoulders. I'm also a huge Pavlik fan and he improves dramatically with each outing. I think Pavlik v Calzaghe would be a great fight that would surprise many of you. But they each have big fights to get thru first.

Pavich (sp???) lost heavily to hopkins thus is irrelevant... also pointless hopkins fighting Calzaghe again as he will only lose yet again.. plus hopkins fights scared and hides when hes up against a superior opponent as was the case vs Calzaghe

Pavlik is a good boxer, lets stop comparing the guy before he gets in the ring to anyone elses punching power. His power seems to be there and hes precise with where he lands it.

Excuses excuses. He claims to have "no excuses", then he makes excuses. Even when fighters have broken hands, or with Paulie Malignaggi, a broken orbital bone on his face, they made no excuses. The fact is, hopkins circled away from Pavlik's right cross, and never let him plant his feet to throw heavy shots. Hopkins is a more skilled pugalist, and it just seems fighters with a high work rate like Taylor or Calzaghe don't suit his style, that's all. Winky Wright will kill calzaghe.
