A Scotsman who spells Whisky with a n e, should be hand cuffed and thrown head first in the Dee. In the USA and Ireland, its spelt with an e but in Scotland its real Whisky. So if you see Whisky and it has an e, only take it, if you get it for free! For the name is not the same and it never will be, a dram is only a real dram, from a bottle of Scotch Whisky.

Second, the 'British Invasion' music was based on American groups...for instance, the Beatles named themselves as a tribute to Buddy Holley and The Crickets. Use facts and figures. I believe the numbers for your country are something like 400,000 immigrants since 2000 into a population of 4million....10%! How has the GDP done, unemployment in the same period??? Job opportunities?? Unfortunately, the "proud heritage" and "brave forefathers" talk doesn't sway the Nintendo masses anymore.
