I don't think it's underrated, people just like different music these days. Reading the comments here, people seem to rate it pretty high. I sure do.
Just saying that it's hard to be "popular" nowadays with good music. That's kind of a good thing I think, because big record-companies are not interested to fuck this up into a commercial MTV-band. But then again it would be kinda cool, if more people liked good music like this.

´ve got a ´77 strat, a customized MIJ strat with ebony fretboard, A 335 Dot reissue and a les paul standard limited edition. I´m trying to trade the les paul in for an ES 359 though, such a sweet guitar! Ampegs are nice, got an old G100, unfortunately it´s broken now :( luckily I´ve got a Mesa

Yeah, Big Muff for sure. Dan uses a Russian issue Big Muff I believe... Don't have experience with that model, I use the NYC reissue. Either one should be savage though.

´ve ownded two les pauls so far. A custom shop florentine and my current limited edition. I like the sound pretty much, but personally I think strats sound better. Besides, les paul necks (even the slim tapers) are just too fat for me. Though my dot has a rather wide neck, it isn´t near as fat as
the les paul (which is a a slim taper).. So, that´s why I´m probably letting it go..

Sounds pretty cool, I love strats too but there's just something about the weight and feel of an LP (not to mention the tone) that I love... I have an Epi 50th Anniversary LP Custom (1798 of 2002) and a Gibby 98 Standard. Weirdly the Epi sounds considerably better. Strange huh?
