Yep, they were Geordies to a man. I think Alan Price, on keyboards, worked for the Inland Revenue in Newcastle, and was told when he resigned to join the band full time, he was making a big mistake. Chas Chandler on bass famously "discovered" Jimi Hendrix and brought him to the UK to set up the "Experience".
