Although I agree with you, theres one thing you have to give the STI. You can have a completely different experience offroad as oppose to on the road. Living in Canada, I'd rather have that scoobie, althou its pretty ugly:S.

obviously you dont understand the thrill of being able to take corners at discustingly fast speeds. the growl of a V8 is awesome, but flying over hills and through the woods to grandmas house is pretty damn fun too. If all you want out of a car is to go from home to work to home again, and do it as fast as you can from light to light, then sure get the Mustang, but if you ALSO want to be able to wonder off the beaten path for a little twisty fun, get the subi.

Your not picking up any girls in that ugly Subaru!! Shocked at how good the Subaru did. Very nice but I'll take the Shelby any day of the week. There has to be something said about an American made muscle car that looks and sounds good!

Not neccesarily. Look at the Ford GT and the Saleen, these are two cars thats around 550hp and have a big engine. But the car is actually light. they are probably the lightest 500 hp cars their is that I can think of. The problem with the mustang is, Ford builds it for the family, (back seat, extra luxury, and probably a heavy suspension to make the car ride smoother).

American cars are worthless??? Tell that to Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. They give you a lifetime unlimited mileage powertrain warranty on most of their cars and trucks and amazingly this even includes the Dodge Viper. If German cars and Japanese cars are so superior, when are they gonna offer this kinda warranty on just their normal passenger vehicles??
