| what a shame that they disbanded. They make some of the most beautiful music i have heard my whole life. Their style is very unique compare the mainstream pop that we listen to here in the states. |

| I understand what you're saying and I agree with you to a certain extent. On the other hand, the vast majority of mainstream pop that's popular in Japan is just as bad as the mainstream pop that's big in the States. Supercar were inspired by groups like MBV in the early days and Radiohead later on. Popular, but not on the level of J-Lo or Ayumi. I think it's pretty much the same everywhere, you just have to find gems among all the rubbish. |
