This song has awesome lyrics and the images depict the sad reality of many children. Violence is never OK. It should not hurt to be a child. There are solutions. Thanks for posting this and sharing it. Awareness is the first step to positive change. I will share it with a few of my friends who care deeply about these problems.

Thanx for sharing. This is touching. Some children grow up not experiencing love, but are exposed to a lot of violence and temporary 'love'..its sad.Sometimes moving from one foster home to another, its heartbreaking. An artificial enviroment

this song always makes me cry! my mom always slapped me across the face so hard, half my childhood i had a bleeding nose. i don't talk to her anymore and it's been very hard to have a healthy relationship with anyone. i think most parents are totally unaware of the abuse they inflict upon their children. it's sad and it's not ok. violence is never ok, in any form! physical, verbal, etc...

I agree, this song is a very good message. I was not abused or anything, well maybe in todays time I would have been since I did get spanked with the belt,the eighties were different times, but this song has a powerful meaning, and I cry everytime I hear it.
