I have listenend to chinese democracy, and i didn't like it, if you compare it to other bands it is not that bad but it is not guns n roses, if you compare Chin Demo to songs like sweet child and welcome to the jungle it is crap

dont go into chinese democracy expecting another appetite for destruction. AFD was 21 years ago. axl's not the same guy anymore so how can he produce the same album over and over?
chi dem is a lot more complex than VR. it grows on you the more you listen to it.

Yeah. He is a freakin' good guitarist. I like him alot. Working on his book a 2nd time- but i'm only 13 so i'm not exactly a reading addict. I used to be but i seem to have been caught by being a teen (i'm almost 14). All i'm saying is if i hate reading- Slash must have a damn fine story to keep me reading his book!

Don't cry and all the stuff you listed from there used Matt on drums- so basically, that was Velvet Revolver. I you got rid of Scott (who left anyway) and got rid of the rythm guitarist and put in Axl and Izzy- you could pretty much remake Use Your Illusions.

Dude,seems like u DONT EVEN know anything about GnR,and y Slash and his bandmates left,the reason is not he didnt like the songs they played.Its because he couldnt take the pressure Axl is givin.He left because of Axl's ego.and its not about whether he likes this band or not,this band was FORMED by HIM!U should read the book and do more homework before trying to act smart here.The reason he left that i mentioned is not fully detailed,check the full detail urelf,go buy his biography.

arentvangent, i know you didnt expect Chi Dem to be the same songs as AFD. im just saying we should move past AFD now. that album reflects the GNR guys at a very particular stage of their lives/ a very particular moment in music history.
as for quality, VR have produced two albums plus lot of solo albums and GNR has produced one but neither they nor anybody else in the universe is ever going to come close to the quality of AFD. that doesnt mean that Chi Dem is not good music. do buy it.
