Order of the Phoenix is the longest book in the series, and resulted in the shortest movie. If they'd adapted the series with this much discipline from the beginning, the first film would have been 70 minutes long. I must marvel at the filmmakers' ability to corral such an unwieldy tome into a comprehensible 128-minute feature (Rowling herself has admitted that Book 5 was too long), and a part of me wishes that the whole series could have been translated that way. Of course, a bigger part of me wanted to see all the letters flying through the Dursley's window, Dobby's collection of hats, Harry's date with Cho, the Quidditch matches, the gang's trip to St. Mungo's, Luna's lion-head hat, McGonnagal's career advice, Hogwarts' uprising against Umbridge, Harry's rampage in Dumbledore's office, and many more fantastic scenes.
This was my hardest HP video so far; I've never done so much manipulating clips and cannibalizing the other movies in the series to get the shots I needed. I know you've been looking forward to this for a while, so here it is at last. This will be the last one until Half-Blood Prince makes it to D
VD. (I'm trying not to get too attached to anything from Book 6.) UPDATE: I've fixed the spelling mistake from earlier.
