hey jimmy, when i view my index.php file, i can't look at the code anymore! i see a replica of the homepage i created yesterday instead. how do i convert it back to code again, and what the heck happened?

also, i wrote some other files, so i could link from index.php to those files, and one of them, which only had some text on it, came out with the echoed text, only with black diamond shapes between the words. i rewrote the file and now it works fine. do you know what happened? anyone? bueller?
