What? those things you see on 2006 picture, is called the Sarcophagus. It is made out of steel and concrete to keep radiation inside. Below that sarcophagus, the reactor looks like 1986's. hope i had cleared your doubt. Kind regards!

Greenpeace doesn't care the first of what caused the accident, nor can they do anything to prevent another one. The remaining RBMK reactors are still in operation (apart form the Chernobyl ones) and Greenpeace isn't stopping them. All other reactors in the world are fundamentally different from th
ese and cannot cause this kind of accident. So what they mean is: give us your money, and we'll fuel your paranoia.

Apparently the radioactive material was several times greater than that of Hiroshima and Nagasaki...
which gives you an indication of how great a tragedy Chernobyl was (and still is) I have to wonder how radiated it still is inside Reactor 4, given that all that protects the outside world is the Sarcophagus

I saw another video saying it was far more devastating then hiroshima and nagasaki, also the video said that people working within Chernobyl NPP can only work in 15 minute shifts because of the radiation levels within the Sarcophagus.
