I understand. Myself, I have a favorite character on every show that I like besides the main one. For 24, it WAS President David Palmer. For The Shield, it's Ronnie. For Prison Break, it's T-Bag. Dexter, it's Angel Batista. And so on... Jack is awesome beyond all reason. But sometimes, even on the best of shows, some actors don't get enough air time and with that, they have such potential that their charactor can even rival the main one. My opinion at least.

You should get your facts right, smart guy. 24 has had more fans the The Wire. More awards. Better writers and directors and actors. The Shield was way better The Wire and they said the same thing about that show as well.

How u understood that as "the wire has more fans More awards better writers... than 24" i do not know.
I also like 24, but my point was that contrary to the "critically acclaimed" claim in the trailer, many shows have enjoyed much more favourable reviews,including the wire to which the review averages site metacritic gives its 4th season an average of 98% based on 21 reviews, a full 4% points high

Yes, I misread your comment, I'll admit that. But, when it comes to reviews, critics, etc. it's all BS. The ONLY thing that counts is the fans. Don't forget when it comes to TV most networks cancel good shows because of the reason of ratings. The real reason is the cost of money to advertise, make it, hire people, etc. My point is that reviews and statics doesn't mean anything. Are you going to read a bad review and not see a movie when it might be good? As for The Wire, want to see it.
