That G8 logo reminded me of the AOL logo that has an "eye" symbol inside a pyramid. Now I try to be original so I searched for the AOL logo and synchromystical and found that a commentor named Shayne had posted this same message on Jake's blogspot.
The AOL logo can be thought of as a gate in the way that the AOL connection can bring Internet surfers to other locations in the world.

I heard that the G stands for "Generation", as in sex- there is a lot of male-female duality in Freemasonry after all...
