I think the video "Jacqueline Boyer Der Mond vom Fudschijama" is from this same time. Same stage, flowers, and people in the audience. I love the people in the audience here. They're very funny to watch. Mentioned on another version (but that video disappeared) the panning of the audience seems like a parody of personification. Stoic Germans listening to an emotional love song.

germany is and was the biggest market in europe. in those days most germans didn't speak english very well, but wanted to understand the lyrics, so singers from other european countries (uk, netherlands, denmark, sweden, norway, france...) sang in german. sometimes they sang the same songs in three or more languages for their different audiences.
