Quiet Riot was around for years before Def Leppard. Actually, Quiet Riot opened the door for Def Leppard, not the other way around. Metal Health really wasn't that huge a departure of Randy Rhoads era Quiet Riot.

Def Leppard kicked down the door for Quiet Riot by releasing three singles after Metal Health came out from an already existing album? That's not how it works, Cum on Feel the Noize and Metal Health were so big that it was profitable for Def Leppard to release three more singles off an album that had been out for months already and only had one single before that out. Quiet Riot released a lousy follow up album and DuBrow was a real jerk at that time, that's why they tend to get kind of ignored.

i think what i was trying to say ealier is that i respect your knowledge of history, and truly i do, what i was trying to make a point of, and i faiied. here goes: Def Captured the essence of Rock and distilled it so that even those who think QR tho a great band, failed their potential too many times because of i think over producing, that Def really must Rule!
