Ricky Nelson Rockabilly - 3 songs featuring James Burton

Video Description:
No one can deny the impact Teen Idol Ricky Nelson had on Rock 'n' Roll. From his musical appearances on "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet", he helped introduce Rock (and Rockabilly) to the American public. And while Elvis Presley might have been perceived as a bit dangerous... Ricky Nelson was safe for our teenage girls. He also had an amazing back-up band:
James Burton, James Kirkland, Ritchie Frost, and Ray Johnson. (Many formerly had worked with Bob Luman) My favorite part is probably the last 20 seconds of the 3rd song. The recording engineer brought up some cool-sounding hand-claps in reverb. Great touch! Be sure to watch all of my Ricky Nelson videos. No one can take from Rick his place in Rock n Roll.

Stavano provando a non essere troppo 'selvaggi' nei loro movimenti.
Do your homework, for starters the first R.I.A.A. gold award was for Elvis's Hard Headed Woman which means either parents were already buying Elvis or giving the kids the money to do so because they didn't mind.
Ricky Nelson couldn't hold a candle to Elvis, not even then
About 5 years ago I worked with John Daulton who has been with the Kinks since 66{If you watch the video of Lola he is the one with the beard on Bass}and he said they toured the States in the early 70s and they went to an Elvis concert but he went just to say he had seen James Burton and he was fantastic because he would often do a solo.
