Certainly I can't speak for everyone. Please don't take anything personally, but I don't think that you can honestly deny that the vast majority of the world we live in doesn't give a shit. It's terrible and sad but true. A couple weeks ago a greeter at walmart got trampled to death. Why? Because people value material stuff and their own happiness more than life, human or otherwise. Thanks for being one of the few worthwhile. The world needs more of you.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't have had near the impact as the actual live animal had. Think about it. Would you even have any idea this issue even existed if it hadn't been exposed in such a controversial way? Please try and see beyond the one sick dog to the actual problem: animal cruelty in Costa Rica.
