i'm also an iraqi vet, who spent a total of 24 months in theatre. how can they be "free" when we are trying to control what they should do? they died promoting FALSE freedom. and it WAS a mistake, a mistake in TIMING. fighting Iraq was right, but at the WRONG time. instead of attacking the source, we have now allowed them to grown in numbers and strength. your 12 months in theatre should have shown you that. especially since its been going on for almost 72 months.....

I AGREE! I have met many people during this election that vehemently disagreed with me. Yet, their passion and concern for America was as palpable as my own.
We respected each other's views, we debated passionately. We learned from one another. We are not all that far apart, we all are concerned about America. We just have different ways of getting to that promised land. When this election is over, we must all come together.

Between Obama's inexperience, lies, and his domestic terrorists and racist associates, he is too radical and risky for me. Hillary should have won that primary. As Americans we all have the right to free speech. However, as elected officials and representitive of the U.S. Government, when the U.S. Government sends our troops into battle. They need to stand behind the mission publicly.
The Dems have not done this. They sold us a lie. Neither Obama nor McCain can bring those troops home until at least 2010. The Dems took Congress based on bringing the troops home. And two years later??? Truth - we cannot leave till Iraq can secure itself.

It is not an unjust occupation. Sanctioned by Congress, approved by the Commander and Chief, Saddam was in violation of U.N. Resolutions for 9 years. Killed thousands of his own people.
50 Million people have been freed in Iraq and Afghanistan. But we cannot leave Iraq until they can protect themselves. Neither McCain or Obama can bring them home any earlier. And they both know this. You'll see!

Mr. Obama. Have you ever worked in a "forward area?" I didn't think so. Ever manage a budget? Ever manage a business or manage people? This entire democratic party process is a travesty. There are so many hundreds of Americans that are more qualified for this position.
The Obama campaign has done such a great job with the money, infomercials, and the creation of the brand of a candidate. It is such an accurate and poor statement of what our American Goverment has become. A joke.
