Hey mantic I have a somewhat silly question, now I am new to the safety razor, and though it yields the closest shave I have ever had, I seem to have difficulty accurately trimming side burns, any tips?

jvilla82688- That's a great question and difficult to describe; I guess I should make a video about it! Basically, rest the razor on the spot you want to trim and make relatively short, quick strokes. Do not press down at all!!

if you could that would be great, its just that I tend to like my sideburns in the middle of my ear, and a side from finding the middle(which i sometimes have difficulty with too if u have tips for that?) and keeping them even I think its one of the reasons it takes me so long to shave(im picky) lately i have been cheating by using the trimmer of the fusion, but i don't see a point in having to use more than 1 razor (know what i mean), btw good luck with the myth busters challenge!!!

Which is why this guy has posted a lot of videos about it, he explain the correct techniques and tips to wet shaving. I thought it was crazy at first until I tried the first steps with my regular shaving foam gel and disposable cartridge razors. Later I "upgraded" to a DE razor and shaving cream, it makes a whole lot of a difference and the actual experience becomes a pleasure rather that a chore.

And last thing - Did you record those different techniques during one day? I see you shave your right side and even though next take includes scratching and scratching and, still, scratching like you haven't been shaving for hours...

lambo944- Since I can't see your face I don't know for sure, but I doubt if you need to shave regularly. Probably only when your face gets a little "scruffy." I would suggest using the mildest razor you can find (like a Gillette Sensor) until your beard starts filling in.

delacerdaa- The concepts of wetshaving (grain shaving, lots of water, good lather, light pressure, etc.) apply to any area being shaved. But I'm not going to make a video about shaving wedding tackle. :-)

Lol, poor guy. Alright it's pretty basic. You use clippers to trim it down so then you can use a razor to shave it like you would your face. It really depends on your skin whether or not you do it wet or dry. It'll itch a lot the first few times and while it grows back btw. Waxing=ingrown hairs= bad idea.
