I own a rx8 too, and i can tell you, it RARELY does get 23mpg except when I do all highway. bushindo2000 is mostly right on this one. The new EPA estimate takes a bit of account of those things he's listed; HOWEVER, he's absolutely correct that you clearly don't know about his car. EPA estimates are still not accurate compare to real life driving. Does the prius really get 60mpg like toyota mentions? NO, real owner ship experience gives you 48mpg instead. actually, some time ago long before you got your license when the prius FIRST came out, toyota, EPA estimated the mpg at 60mpg. You're an uninformed stupid child. I hope you realize that both b2k and I agree that the rx8 does not achieve that kind of gas mileage. rx8club forum will also make you realize that it's true the rx8 will almost never achieve that kind of mileage.
