Jimmy Wales at San Francisco iSummit party announced :
the Wikimedia Foundation board voted to approve a deal beetween the FSF and CC and Wikimedia. We're going to change the GFDL in such a way that Wikipedia will be able to become licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.

Wikipedia is the negation of the Web's diversity.
Instead of "shopping around" for knowledge, millions of lazy, bookless people are flocking to a site controled by a faceless, self-appointed "Wiki-elite" expecting to find the truth. I'm sure Wikipedia has earned its place in history, I'm just not sure what that place is.

Why dont you read up on Wikipedia and its history and problems from an OUTSIDE non-Wiki source. Hitler banned smoking, didnt drink, and loved animals. Does that make him a nice guy too? Nope.
