I ripped this directly from the CD, extracted the Bink video from the .MPQ, converted Bink to Quicktime, and uploaded.

Marius' main role is the narrator of the story. Diablo kept him around because he knew he could the one to release Baal, Marius was never aware any of them were demons until it was too late. FYI, Marius never had to follow Diablo at all if he wanted too, he merely felt compelled.

"...from that moment we travelled together, east. always into the east..." after so many years it still sends shiver up my spine. the opening cinematic from diablo 2 is one of the best pieces of fantasy art ever. it crossed the border where cgi was a nice gimmick to serious art.

Help, I'm having problem with my Diablo II! I bought it not long ago and installed it as a 'single-player', everything went alright until I proceeded to play it; the screen just went black and then a message says something about 'server exception' and the game shuts down. D*:

download patch 1.12 from blizzard site, its latest patch and solves many issues.
Secondly, diablo 2 loads through game.exe in yer d2 map. If you still experience the same problem or sumthing you could make it run in compatibility mode win98 or winxp when you right click on game.exe and change things.

Well yes, baal is contained within him .. It's Tal'Rasha :) - Same though, Tal'Rasha was the leader of the Horadrim, and sacrificed himself for containing Baal :) Blood Raven = Rogue from Diablo 1 Summoner = Sorcer from Diablo 1 The Wanderer = The hero YOU played in Diablo 1 etc. :)
