Der Gangsta-DJ im Video meint Drum & Bass sei manchen zu monoton? Fr
üher mal um '99, heutzutage sind die Releases ziemlich unterschiedlich. Ich würd eher behaupten, Dubstep ist von anfang an monotoner als DnB, aber vielleicht legt sich das ja auch in ein paar Jahren. Wenn's dieses Genre dann noch gibt. Auch verstehe ich nicht, warum Dubstep nicht eher mit Electron
ica oder Trip-Hop verglichen wird. Kann jemand die Tracknamen vom Hobbs-Gig auflisten?

Das mit der Monotonie hat sich schon gelegt, die Polyrhythmik kommt z.B. mehr zum Tragen und es klingt offener, organischer. Fehlen blo
ß noch 'n paar Sounds und Samples und wir sind bei der zeitgemäßen Weiterentwicklung des britischen electroDub der 90er. Das wird DER Sound. Endlich.
