The lure of the group B monster attracted more and more fans each stage,eager to get a glimpse of a quattro shooting 1 foot of flame out the exhaust or see the cars throwing up dirt. Some rallys saw hundreds of thousands of fans lining the edge of the roads forming a human wall!

Yes, I am german, and I love all technical toys; cars, electronis, optic stuff... you name it, I love it. BUT I love live too, and I dont see a reason to play tech and live against each other. Also, yes we germans love cars and racing, but we love security and rules too.

Yeah the Group B cars would probably not stand a chance against todays WRC cars, especially considering how far technology has progressed with differentials and tires. But i still prefer some oldschool machinery when I watch a rally.
