But to other people looking at these, be aware that they are exactly the same as T-rex pedals. Only difference=other design and the T-Rex are cheaper! The reason; TC Electronic pays T-Rex in order to use their design. Don't get me wrong; i like TC but there's no need to buy these new pedals as they are cheaper and imo better('coz of the design=better colorscheme) made by T-Rex.

In Europe and US, TC are more expensive than T-Rex! Plus don't you want the original thing?

we are talking about the vintage series, which is the same as the t-rex.
they're the same price and that's a fact.
(199$ to the cheaper models).
anyway, the vintage series is disscontinude.

Yeah kickass to ruin your bypassed tone when turned off. That's why I sold my two boss pedals, they ruinied the sound of my Fulltone '70 fuzz.

I use many different pedals and i like some boss too, but i never heard about 2 pedals ruining the sound. sounds strange, you using good cables?

Ok, I own a Fulltone '70 fuzz pedal. I used to own a Boss CS-3 Compressor and a SD-1 Super-Overdrive. If i placed the CS-3 before the '70 it sounded just like crap(when the Cs-3 was off) and was unusable so i sold the boss pedals. That's my experiencence, has nothing with the cables to do because it doesn't happen if i place my Fulltone Clyde Deluxe wah before the '70 because it has true-bypass.

Thats very strange but not impossible. I experienced some of the same problems in the past, but those pedals are also sold now too ;-)

boss pedals dont suck, they just need modifications to make a purer sound. for instance, the bd-2 is a bit brittle and harsh, but w/ a keeley or analogman mod it would sound amazing
