Your main problem is that you're mostly all a bunch of sooky down on yourself bastards! I have AS too and am proud of who I am and the unique skills I have because of it. I don't consider myself not to be normal. Having AS is a gift and I guess you need some strength to use that gift. And thankfully I was born with some balls, as well as AS. Because I don't want to be like any of you sooky AS type people.

I am Aspergers and I love me! I am strangely unique and have trained myself to get by, after 2 of my sons were diagnosed on the PDD scale. We need a planet of our own. At the very least, a commune.

i agree, i only recently diagnosed, but i'd imagine trying to camouflage it would be like what i tried to do unsuccessfully for 45 years before i was diagnosed... sure, help is available now i am diagnosed, but i think explaining to people that i have aspergers, at least in work situations and such, if and when i get work whilst being honest about being diagnosed, is better than trying to camouflage it

I agree. I have AS and my way of friendship is just different. I don't have many 1 on 1 friends, but both my city's roller derby team and indy league baseball team call me their "#1 fan," though I having trouble actually socializing with them.The rollergirls and ball club staff say I'm lovable and passionate about their activity. Also, I've had diners call me their #1 customer and always give me a free malt with my order. I also love playing curling and get nice vibes from the curling club, too.

Hey guys, I have asperger's,I found out just recently..when you relies that your special and uniqe and you except who you are over compering yourself to others it great being an Aspi. Plus Steven Speilberg is also an Aspi including other famouse personalitys.
