I'll prefer a manufacturer that can make a 1000 cc motor put out 170 hp over one that makes a 1200 cc motor that makes >100 hp.

Which makes you a sheep, just like all the others. Good job getting a bike with power you'll never need on the street. Hope your ego is stroked enough kid.

I prefer a bike that when parked next to other bikes, looks the look and kills the cooks!
A bikers bike is not about power, its about handling, torque and killer looks!
Who's stroking ... ( 5 months ago by therealtony)
Who's stroking their ego? My 600cc can pull wheelies at 70mph. 0-60 in less than four seconds. That's pretty impressive. This is why I ride it. I wasn't attracted by sound or image. Advertising didn't suck me into it. It's a low-cost, high tech toy that I'm having tons of fun on.

Torque means nothing. Image is nothing. Buy what you have the most fun with. If you need a big, heavy, noisy, and slow motorbike to project some silly hollywood image than go right ahead. Not for me.

Im not a Harley Fan,but that handling's wikkid man.

I get tons of torque from my high revving 600cc in first gear. The torque keeps on going all the way up to 15,000 rpm. If I want more i just have to put a bigger sprocket on the back wheel. I'm sure buells handle well but the reliability isn't so great. My bike has 37,000 kms on it and I've never had a major service done yet.

The reliability is ... ( 5 months ago by Mishyana)
The reliability is fine, imo. I've got just shy of 8k miles on mine, and all I've had to do is replace a sparkplug and the rear tire. And the sparkplug was my own fault for trying to jump the battery with too large a charger.

You people need to realize that your preference (or anyone else's) is not right or wrong...it's just your preference. They are'nt real, they are just neural patterns in your brains. This is evidences by how often preferences change. Go ride the bike you like.

im happy with my buell lots of torque and a top speed of 220km/hr it gets there in a hurry i mean seriously what is the speed limit where your from i love bikes but we need to stop calling it a sport its only a sport when your racing and that why bikes get bad rapp its trasportation first lets not forget.

I like my Buell XB12S. I wanted a bike that was a sport but not cramped up like my old CBR F3. The speed is up to par with my old 98F3 but I was not looking for the fastest bike. Very happy with my choice. the funny think was/is I was a little worried about reliability. I read several long term test and all gave good reviews. So to all Buell bashing idiots, Ive owned 3 bikes, 84 cb650 nighthawk, broke down all the time, F3, after every winter I had to get the carbs worked on, Buell nothing.
