| hey guys, I've been working for 2 years doing video and I've been working with a program called Sony vegas and I can't complain, has been a very good program to start in the world of editing, but now I want to jump into FCP, at work we have the full studio 2 pro version, but this is freaking hard because Final Cut is so different to work with, i'll make a lot of questions, i'll be so grateful if you help me. first question: What a hell I suppose to do to capture all the tape as separate clips? |

| In order for the video to appear in the right viewer you need to first place a clip in the time line then jog the time line marker to the point in the video you want to see. An easy way to understand the two screens is the left shows a preview of clips in you project area and allows you to edit clips the right shows you what is in the timeline at the bottom. (basically) Hope that helps |

| I can't say for sure since I don't use FCE - but as long as you have access to the tools and effects described in this video it should work without any problems. I would just imagine it would work. Maybe someone with FCE can say for sure. |

| Thank you very much, I believe these videos will help with my media college course as I am learning Final Cut Pro. I have general knowledge of the software and can easily use it but i believe these videos will help me learn more in depth effects etc, thankyou =) |
