even though they have sold more albums and more pictures than any other band in history, they are not in the rock and roll hall of fame. and Metalica are not in there either. I think the Rock and roll hall of fame is a bunch of bull shit!I do agree with you about the hard work. they are the hardest working band in the buisness.also the greatest show on earth.

Lets see,strutter,watching you.detroit rock city,God od thunder.Heavens on fire, Burn bitch burn.Gene don't sing Michael bolton songs.Like forever,against Unholy.Now when they released there 4 solo albums in 78" Ace had the best,followed by paul,then gene,and last was peter's.But 99 percent of time,Gene has a more hard edge sound than paul.He is the reason for there metal fans.for most of them,he is the reason alone.

@bluesrockers. FAIL! The fact that Gene would make a remark about Peter's voice cracking, KNOWING HE WAS ON CAMERA, was a shitty thing to do. And as for him being the "reason" for anything... who the hell do you think was keeping the band on track back when Gene was in Hollywood trying to be an actor? Paul.
By the way, Strutter, Detroit Rock City & Heaven's On Fire were sung by Paul. In my opinion, teaming up with Bolton was not one of their better ideas, but Forever is a decent track.

PS. "Revenge" sounds hard because Ezrin helped them to achieve the type of sound that they ALL agreed that they needed. No argument here that "Unholy" is a GREAT track, but if you read enough behind-the-scenes material you soon learn that Gene very RARELY writes or completes anything without help

You know, a lot of people on these KISS threads say "Gene this, or, Gene that". But I've got to say that what pisses me off the most is that instead of getting back to work writing and recording great material with the band (whoever it may consist of), he'd rather be busy trying to get his Demon mask on friggin' snowboards, or writing a book about prostitutes, or autographing rolls of GS toilet paper (for a price, of course). FUCK!! You don't see ANY of the other guys doing that stupid shit!
