| I think saying that it rains because the universe cries for a bunch of leaves is a bit drastic... the universe should have more to cry about than a bunch of emotionless, senseless and unconscious objects. If the tree itself was cut down then I would understand this video, but crying over a bunch of leaves is like crying over somebody getting their hair cut... pointless. |

| I think the leaves might be a metaphor for death's effect itself; in a literal sense, you're right, but i think this film describes the collective nature of death's cycle, and not necessarily the individual results of it. |

| the leaf is apart of the tree, the tree is apart of the earth the earth is apart of the universe its saying that the universe cares for all things, if the earth is the universes child the tree is its grandchild if something beautiful is taken away from your child or grandchild wouldnt you feel sad? |
