This week African rockers Amadou and Mariam are caught live in concert on their recent North American tour. Known as the blind couple of Mali, guitarist Amadou Bagayoko and singer Mariam Doumbia are a married duo who first met when a mutual love of music drew them together as teenagers at the Bamako Institute for the Blind in Mali. Today they are one of the most successful pop acts in the country.
