I cried when he died. In fact, i knew when it was coming, so i ran into my room and shut the door to read that scene so that no one would see. Then, I stayed in there while I read The Prince's Tale and cried even more. I never thought that after reading about him dying that I'd actually think of him as dead. But now, it's like i lost a friend, really...

every time someone asks me: "who is your favourite character from Harry Potter", i would say: "Severus Snape"! everyone asks why he is so evil and all i have to say is that no his is not, harry sees it that way so that is what you think. but how do u know he is truly bad. around this point people have nothing to say to me! i love severus snape, i still can't believe he dies. :(! he was a honourable man!

I didn't cry when he died. I cried at every other death but, for some reason, I didn't cry at his. Snape is my favourite character and I think a part of me knew that he wouldn't survive to live in the new world that followed Voldemort's demise. It was fitting that Snape died so that he could be honoured as the hero that he was. That knowledge, I guess, makes his death easier to accept.

I'm crying right now, you are so right Severus Snape was the bravest man ever known! I actually wrote an angry letter to JK Rwoling for killing him! WHY!? He was the best character in the whole book and she killed him!!! REMEMBER SEVERUS SNAPE!!! REMEMBER HIM!!! And I'm still crying...

I loved it. Snape was my favorite character and none of my friends knew why. I loved him and believed he was good through all of the books and almost threw the book against the wall when he died. God, I hated J.K Rolling after that. He was the bravest man I've ever known, read/heard about, or seen.

After all this time to get used to his death, it doesn't matter. I still cry when I think of him, and his unjust end. All that pain, all that striving, and for what? Poor Severus. Truly the bravest character in the Harry Potter books.

I love 4:47! I think it pretty much sums up his entire life. The loneliness, and longing for something he could never have. I love Alan Rickman and can't wait to see him continue with Snape in the next 2 movies. I might cry! lol. btw, great vid!

This video is a beautiful farewell to Severus. He was a brave man with a good heart, even though he had a very hard start on his life. It
´s not fair that a person like him should die in such a young age, without getting to really know the feeling of being loved. He was a fantastic character, and I don´t understand J.K. Rowlings reason for letting him die. In my thoughts, He´ll never die. That part of the story is not reality in my
eyes.

no, severus was right to die. He was never happy without Lily - it was what he wanted to do in the end, be with her, wherever she went.
I cried so much when Snape asked Harry to look at him while he died, so that the last thing he saw when he left the world were Lily's eyes.

no! it was sad when snape died - but he had too. If he didnt, Harry would never had known that Snape was his protector the whole time, or maybe Snape would have told him the truth, and then Harry and Snape would end up as besties? No matter how much Snape loved Lily (*tear*), Snape and Harry could never have neen friends!
Dying proved that Severus loved Lily so much he would give his own life to be with her again.
