| The songs back then were all so short becuase everything was on AM radio which had a time limit. Had to be under like three minutes. FM didnt get started until the sixties or so playing albums and stuff on the underground (un-liscensed staions). AM has a lot longer range. It wasnt uncommon to pick up stations across the country. FM radio has a much shorter range of about 90 miles which allows for more stations. |
