You are mistaken. The original joker was actually not funny at all. He was just a psycho killer that wouldn't die. Over the years when it got campier, yes, he became a goofball. But Jack did a great job with the role, let's not take that away from him just because of what Heath has done. Jack's portrayal was surprisingly dark, but lets face it, Christopher Nolan's movies have done a lot for all of the characters, and Joker is another one.

Our city of Chicago welcomed the crew with open arms because we were(and still are) in a huge bidget crisis. The Mayor let them do anything they wanted, and I mean anything. We got a masterpiece though.

There's no real comparison of any actor for the Joker. Each is a product of the time. If Heath's Joker had been in 89 it wouldn't be praised the way it is now. Jack's Joker was great but like the film, is a product of it's time. Burton's Batman does not stand the test of time. It feels VERY dated when you watch it. I'm sure there's some kid who'll play the Joker in 20 yrs who'll blow us away. The talk Heath's gettin is no different than Jack's in 89 when he was compared to Caesar Romero.

Thank you so much for uploading this! Part 1 was a bit more insightful, but the whole thing was highly entertaining and has me aching to see the film at least once more before it leaves theatres!

This movie, these actors, and that director all deserve major awards for this inspired achievement. I would put this movie up against any of them that have won or been nominated for Oscars in the last decade or more. Astonishing.
