I agree. Often you will see people at Ron Paul rallies with signs that say, "Ron Paul cured my apathy." It wasn't my apathy that Ron Paul cured as much as my neo-conservatism. I read a couple of Buchanan's books about foreign policy, too, and they certainly didn't hurt.

But flying confederate flags, and having prayer in schools is ridiculous. How would you like it if there were hindu prayer in school or muslim prayer, or prayer to the buddha? You seriously want to alienate people? You should take a lesson from your own holy book. Do unto others as you would

If people wanted to participate in hindu or muslim prayer, that is their business. As long as they are not bothering me in any way, I wouldn't care. And if you do research you'll know that the confederate flag is not 'pro-slavery' or pro-racism.

Is flying a Confederate flag not exercising your freedom of speech and expression? How about everyone let everyone live their lives as they see fit and extending everyone else the same courtesy, regardless of race, sex, creed, sexual orientation, political beliefs or lack thereof. I said nothing of patriotism, simply the idea that if someone wants to wave the confederate flag, they should be able to. Is that so hard to grasp? I love my country, but I do not approve of the way it is being managed or mismanaged. I wasn't even criticizing what was said, I offed a different point of view is all. You respect what I say or do, and I respect what you say or do. Waving a confederate flag doesn't infringe on anyone else's right to protest them doing that. So whats the problem?
