i love this series!!
but the author is so stupid!
his real name isnt even lemony snicket,
and he commited arson, whatever that is!
and in his books he always defines words, like its a dictionary!!
ugh i hate that! he totally ruined the whole book by talking and talking like we were in the room with him! seriously, come on!!

after you read the books you realize that count olaf isnt nessissarily supposed to be a funny character, therefor making jim carrey play count olaf in the movie is quite a mistake, he's a good acter but is not as good when it comes to serious films or dramas such as this, which should want to make the viewer think of what an amazing life they have compared to three orphans, but instead it made me think, why the hell would I be threatened by a retarded monkey like this?
