Relax for a 2 part demonstration of unity against the Trans Texas Corridor (TTC), which is part of the NAFTA superhighway. Just click on my name to see the other part of this video.
On the 5th April 2008, we marched up Congress Ave in Austin Texas to rally at the Austin Capitol steps.
Unfortunately I couldn't fit everyone who spoke that day.
The beginning music is from Jimmy Vaughn at a Ron Paul rally I attended.
The Turf rally was hosted by several grass-root organizations formed as a result of the huge land grab that is the Trans Texas Corridor (TTC) and the NAFTA superhighway.
Ron Paul was in Pennsylvania campaigning, but his message was read loud and clear.
Our state government is taking Texas farmland from owners at 1/3 the value, building a superhighway for importing foreign goods from China and Mexico, and handing it over to foreign companies (CINTRA)to operate the toll roads.
The American people were not allowed to vote on this travesty against America.
The American trucking industry will be ruined as Mexican trucks reign in on American soil at low rates. We will have no control of toll fees, so price of goods will soar.
Many thanks go to brave leaders such as Hank Gilbert, Senator Randy Brogdon, Mayor Mae Smith, Terri Hall, and many others at the rally who have the foresight to see the disaster our government is brewing against America. Be sure to attend the next rally scheduled 28 Feb 2009.
