That isn't true, he overdosed on anti-depressants. Although he could've done it intentionally, his death was most likely an accident.

Such a beautiful song. Moves me to tears everytime. I love the way the strings and (what sounds like a) harpsicord build up to a crescendo throughout the song. 'Bryter Layter' is my favourite Nick Drake album. Every time I listen to it, it just gets better and better. There's not a mediocre song on there. Not that ND has ever produced anything mediocre in his career, I might add.
