I'm cool with my .380, no doubt. In the event something happens, I'd feel better knowing I can control my gun as opposed to having a big ass kick like that everytime I shoot. That ring on the shot though was nasty!

Most people that buy them get them for the prestige of having one. Because of its size, weight, and loud report and muzzle flash, it is a clumsy and unwieldy handgun for self-defense. I would still love one though!

no, the Colt 1911 is made for combat. this is made to be an extension for an insecure mans penis. they're heavy, have excessive recoil, and aren't particularly accurate. definitely not for combat.

Definitely NOT a good home protection weapon. Too few rounds, too much penetration power, to big and not fast enough. A good 9mm with a 15 round mag, or a 40 would be much better. But still a pretty cool gun to enjoy busting melons with.
