| For the record, something dosent have to be dead to be eaten, some predators are just pickier than others. Lions being the biggest predators in the african plains can take their time to kill and eat the prey item, they dont have much to worry about in other predators taking their catch, unless its another lion; Hyenas on the other hand always have to watch out and eat as quickly as possible, if lions are around they will take the kill. |
