What possible point is there in anyone saying Richard Harris is better? Richard isn't going to be playing the part anymore is he? And people believe Gambon when he says he hasn't read the books? Michael Gambon plays interviewers for laughs, and makes up ANYTHING just to see if they're stupid enough to believe him - looks like they're not the only ones who believed him!!

definately Richard Harris. He's more soft spoken than Michael and brought the image of a wise and caring wizard to life. His voice and the gracefulness in his movements will always make him the better dumbledore.

Book Ron is a deeply loyal, brave, and strong willed young wizard but Film Ron is basically Chuckie from Rugrats. Book Dumbledore is a kind hearted, caring and extremely warm character but Film Dumblerdore is basically Scrooge. Book Draco if frightening and creepy as hell but Film Draco is just a bumbling clown. Hermione gets everyone's lines and actions (Harry's, Ron's, Dumbledore's etc) and she's just a super hero which is stupid and its all Steve ''I can't read for shit'' Kloves' fault!

I'm really sad that Richard Harris died. He is way more of a Dumbledoor type. I mean, Michael Gamdon is good, but not as good as Richard. He is almost like a replica of what who I think of when I read the books. I was almost crying when I found out Richard Harris Died. And you're totally right! Dumbledoor would never treat Harry the way Michael Gamdon treats Harry, it's just not right. So I'm with ya.

I feel the exact same was as you do. I really get mad sometimes when I think of how Gambon portrays dumbledore.Butthen I think about the scene where he showed up in the OoTP movie and fought Voldemort and protected Harry, then afterwards when he talks with Harry in the bedroom and told him how he accidently set the curtains on fire when he went to hogwarts etc. and I think when he acts like that he sort of redeems himself and i hope we see more of that in the half blood prince and the DH

Absolutely. I really think they should give Ron more credit... he's so much more than just the "comic sidekick". And Hermione is completely off. I always saw Book Hermione as someone who only pretends to be confident but is actually completely insecure, and that's what I love about her. Film Hermione however is all "LOOK AT ME I KNOW EVERYTHING AND LET ME OVER ENUNCIATE THAT AGAIN." Gah. Book Dumbledore, to me, is a very warm and sparkly character. Film Dumbledore just creeps the hell out of me.
