| I cannot get one of those mercury thermometers to accurately take my child's temperature (under her arm of course)(they are banned too?), but it is okay to have a house full of mercury light bulbs. Flourescent light is bad for your eyesight, bad for your skin, and bad for your well being. |

| we happen to use these bulbs in our house and they have helped in lowering our electric bill, but using them has been our choice. i vehemently object to being told by the government what kind of bulb i can or cannot use in my house. that, i believe, was the point mr. poe was making when he brought out his copy of the constitution. this is ridiculous legislation. |
